CuriousPARC 2026 Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before registering for CuriousPARC 2026 Maharashtra State Innovation Challenge.

Clause 1Mandatory

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for CuriousPARC 2026, all participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions, the official Rulebook, and any additional instructions issued by the organizing committee.

Clause 2Requirements

2. Eligibility

  • Participants must satisfy all eligibility criteria specified in the official Rulebook.
  • Any false, misleading, or incomplete information provided during registration may result in immediate disqualification without prior notice.

Clause 3Policy

3. Team Registration

  • Each participant may be a member of only one team and may submit only one project.
  • Teams must comply with the minimum and maximum team size requirements mentioned in the Rulebook.
  • Team details submitted during registration must be accurate. Any changes after the registration deadline will be subject to the organizers' approval.

Clause 4IP Integrity

4. Project Originality

  • All submitted projects must be the original work of the participating team.
  • Plagiarism, unauthorized use of third-party intellectual property, or submission of previously awarded projects without proper disclosure may lead to immediate disqualification.
  • The organizers reserve the right to verify the originality of any submission.

Clause 5Critical Notice

5. Submission Requirements

Teams must submit all required materials in the prescribed format, including reports, source code repositories, demonstration videos, presentations, and any other documents specified in the official submission guidelines.

Mandatory Submission Warning

Failure to follow the prescribed submission format, required structure, file naming conventions, or mandatory submission requirements will result in the team's submission being rejected, and the team may be disqualified from the competition.

Late, incomplete, corrupted, inaccessible, or password-protected submissions will not be considered unless explicitly permitted by the organizers.

Clause 6Judging

6. Evaluation

  • All submissions will be evaluated according to the criteria defined by the organizing committee.
  • The decision of the judges and organizers shall be final and binding.
  • No requests for re-evaluation or reconsideration will be entertained.

Clause 7Standards

7. Code of Conduct

  • Participants must maintain professional and respectful behavior throughout the competition.
  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, abusive language, cheating, or misconduct may result in immediate disqualification.
  • Teams must cooperate with event staff and follow all instructions during online and offline rounds.

Clause 8Ownership

8. Intellectual Property

  • Participants retain ownership of their original projects.
  • By participating, teams grant the organizers a non-exclusive right to use project titles, abstracts, images, videos, and photographs for event-related promotion, documentation, publicity, and educational purposes, with appropriate attribution where applicable.

Clause 9Compliance

9. Verification

  • The organizing committee may request additional documents, demonstrations, or source code verification at any stage of the competition.
  • Failure to provide the requested information within the specified time may lead to disqualification.

Clause 10Strict Enforcement

10. Disqualification

A team may be disqualified if it:

Submits plagiarized or copied work.

Uses unfair means during any round.

Fails to comply with the required submission guidelines or deadlines.

Engages in behavior that negatively affects the integrity of the competition.

Clause 11Updates

11. Event Modifications

  • The organizers reserve the right to modify the competition schedule, rules, judging criteria, themes, venues, or event format if required due to operational, technical, legal, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any significant updates will be communicated through official event channels.

Clause 12Infrastructure

12. Technical Responsibility

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring that all submitted files, repositories, and demonstration links are accessible and functional.
  • The organizers are not responsible for inaccessible cloud links, expired URLs, damaged files, or technical issues originating from the participant's side.

Clause 13Data Protection

13. Privacy

  • Participant information will be collected and used solely for competition administration, communication, certification, evaluation, and event-related activities.
  • The organizers will take reasonable measures to protect participant data.

Clause 14Media Rights

14. Photography & Media Consent

  • By participating in CuriousPARC 2026, participants consent to being photographed or recorded during the event.
  • Such photographs and recordings may be used by the organizers for promotional, educational, or archival purposes without additional compensation.

Clause 15Legal Disclaimer

15. Limitation of Liability

The organizers shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, injury, equipment failure, data loss, travel expenses, or other costs incurred by participants in connection with the competition.

Clause 16Final Authority

16. Right to Interpret

  • The organizers reserve the exclusive right to interpret these Terms & Conditions and resolve any disputes, ambiguities, or situations not explicitly covered herein.
  • All decisions made by the organizing committee shall be final and binding.

By completing the registration process, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms & Conditions and the official CuriousPARC 2026 Rulebook.
